A camera can capture or photograph thought. Once you have taken a photograph, you could tell what the thought of that picture by simply staring at it. That’s what I love about photography. I can say that I am a professional photographer. I have joined several photography competition and fortunate enough to win.
Photography is one of my passions. That is why I spend time to learn everything about photography. It is amazing that how photographers look into a picture like no one else can. How they manage to appreciate things that other people can’t. I like to take pictures that are perishable. Perishable in a sense that the one who is in that picture would say, “wow! I am glad I have that moment”.
There will come a time that I would be in the field without a camera. And I will see the most wonderful sunset and the most beautiful scene that I have ever witnessed. But I won’t get bitter because I can’t record it anymore. I would just sit down, drink it in, and enjoy it for what it is.
Because of our economic condition right now, we have to learn how to spend wisely or be thrifty. Especially at this season, its’ summer and I am very sure that most of us are really looking forward of buying new set of clothes. But for me, I think this is the time to set aside those wants and start thinking on how we can save as much as we can for more important things.
Clothes are important to, but if we still have many clothes in our closet, why just don’t we try to do mix and match to cope with the latest trend and minimize expenditures for clothes? In that we, can make use of our old clothes and make them look like a new one. This is my way of helping me and my family to save, why don’t you try it too?
If you have long skirts, or pants, try to cut them to make it short to fit into the season. If you have long sleeves shirts, you can also cut the sleeves for you to feel comfortable under the heat of the sun, and try mixing some of your not so old clothes to those you repaired. Try it for yourself and see.
Our body adapts the weather that we have. If it’s hot, our body sends some signals or shows indications that we need to rehydrate; if it’s cold we crave for more food to keep our body warm. That’s how amazing our body is.
As of now, we are on our summer season, heat everywhere. That is why we have to keep our body hydrated to avoid imbalance inside our body that can cause different sickness. In order for us to avoid illnesses like fever, colds, cough, influenza, mumps, measles and even chickenpox, we have to make sure that we keep our bodies clean and we eat healthy foods as well. Foods rich in vitamins A, C and E can help to boost our immune system, they can be found in fruits such as apples, pineapples, and wheat bread which are also rich in fiber that is good for digestion. To keep our children from having mumps, measles and chickenpox, we have to give them proper attention and care. Make sure to drink their milk because it has many vitamins that their small body needs. To keep us hydrated, we have to drink at least 16 glasses of water a day. Water does not only make us hydrated, it can also cleanse our system to make them function very well. We can also make fresh fruit shakes this season aside from the artificial one, it does not only give us cooling sensation, and it can also give us energy for the whole day. Fish and vegetables is the perfect food for this season because they can give us nutrients and healthy oils unlike if we eat meat like pork and beef, they contain cholesterol and also chicken meat if we over eat them. We can eat meat but with proper servings, matchbox size won’t do any hurt, 2-3 times a week.
To keep our health intact, let’s not take for granted the basic food pyramid because this is the perfect guide for healthy living.
2010 is indeed a very new year for me. I’ve been living for almost half of my life now but I have never known or experience those things that happened this year before. There were a lot of earthquakes, fire accidents, plane crashes, different illnesses; the supply of electricity is decreasing and we also experience drought.
Here in the Philippines, we are now experiencing extreme heat that surely causing a lot of trouble and problems throughout the country. We call this the El Niño Phenomenon, wherein extreme heat is experienced all over the country. This results to low water supply, grains drying because of the heat, the spread of diseases, dying of animals especially the fishes in the fish pens because of the high water temperature and a lot more. I almost thought that maybe the end of humanity is near. The effect of global warming is felt not only here in the Philippines but also around the world.
Many local organizations here in our country are conducting many activities that will help us to minimize the effect of El Niño. There are television shows that promote conservation and preservation of water and electricity and ways on how to cure diseases caused by heat. It is very important for all of us to know what has been happening to our mother earth in order to make solutions to every problem that she will encounter. Remember that this is our home, and there is nowhere to go to except here on earth.
Free radicals are harmful molecules that can do harm in our body. Antioxidants protect the body by neutralizing these free radicals. Some medical conditions like arthritis, coronary diseases and cancer can be prevented or treated by antioxidants. Glutathione is a major antioxidant and detoxifier that is produced naturally in the body, thus it is called the master antioxidant.
