Due to fast growing technology, a virtual classmate now is not impossible.  With this Intel Classmate PC launched in Shanghai, China designed for children with a 9-inch wide screen, webcam, built-in hardware and uses Celeron Microprocessor and have just enough speed and performance or simple computing tasks, children will no longer be left behind in terms of computer technology.

Although the computer was designed for children it comes relatively more educational in appeal rather than having a playful appearance of a toy.  These hi-tech gadget classmate type notebooks and laptops have taken their design basis from Intel but it’s not necessarily sold by the said company but it is Intel-based.

Children are the target user that is why this computer was designed with keyboard for users with small fingers.  The keys are arranged in its original position so that children will learn the correct positioning of the fingers.

Like all other laptops and notebooks, children will be able to surf the internet with its ready Wi-Fi feature on the said product.
